Welcome to the Lincoln County Port Authority
Mission: To promote, stimulate, develop, and advance the general welfare, commerce, and prosperity of Lincoln County and its citizens.
In May of 2003, recognizing an opportunity to enhance economic development in the community, the Lincoln County Commissioners approved resolution 609, creating the Local Port Authority. Since its inception, Lincoln County Port Authority has formed and developed the Kootenai Business Park, completed Rail Rehabilitation for the park, partnered with the Kootenai River Development Council, built and maintained a youth fishing pond in Libby, and created a Master Stewardship Agreement to protect the community from wildfire in the wildland urban interface.
LCPA meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at 216 West 9th St, Libby, MT 59923.
